Profiles

Any motor blocks that cause a motor to run require a Profile as one of the operands in the block. A Profile provides the values and units for:

Torque
Speed
Acceleration
Deceleration
Smoothness

All Profiles are user defined and any given program can have multiple Profiles available for use throughout your user program.

Creating a Profile

Click the Profiles item under the Resources list and then click Create New and enter a valid name. In this example we typed “My_Profile”. Please note that the default values and units for Torque, Speed, Acceleration, Deceleration, and Smoothing are populated. If you simply click Create, the Profile* will be created with these default values and units.
