Sectors

In order to use Single Turn Rotary Axis Commands, you will need to configure the units for your Axis to Sectors.

In this example we have selected Sectors from the drop down and the Sectors per Rev data entry field appears. In our example we have entered 24. This means that one circular revolution of our rotary mechanism is divided into 24 equal sectors. Also in this example we have checked the Single Turn box. This means that the rotary mechanism can use the Shortest Path and Longest Path position commands
