Programming Reference / Motion / Motor Command

The Motor Command block is used to run the motor for positioning and non-positioning motion. Positioning motion is provided for both linear and rotary defined Axes.

Item Description
A Select the Slot for the particular InoDrive you want to command
B Select the user defined Profile to use for the motor command
C From the drop down, select the desired type of motor command. See topics for Linear & Rotational Axis Commands for more details.

The Run command when executed simply runs the motor using the selected Profile and the Stop command is used to stop the motor when executed.

Timeout Option

To enable the Command Timeout option, click the configuration icon in the upper left corner of the block to display the pop-up item and click the checkbox for Timeout. This adds an input operand to the block. You can then attach a constant value or variable as the operand. The operand expects an unsigned integer of the timer preset in msec.
