Programming Reference / Motion / Set Motor Operation

The Set Motor Operation block provides multiple motor functions mostly related to enabling, disabling, and resetting certain conditions.

Item Description
A Select the Slot for the particular InoDrive you want to set motor operation
B From the drop down, select the desired function you want to perform on the chosen Slot. The operand portion of the block will change based upon what you select in the drop down.

Drive

This function is used to enable, disable, or reset a drive fault condition.

Inertia

This function is used to enter a desired Inertia Ratio to compensate for the mechatronics attached to the motor at the selected Slot. The operand for this function can either be the value contained is a user defined variable or a constant value.

Position

This function is used to set a new current position for the motor rotor. This function can also be used to set the current position to 0 (zero). The operand for this function can either be the value contained is a user defined variable or a constant value. There is also a drop down to select whether the provided value in the operand is in Axis Units or Encoder Counts.
